K1 International, LLC. was formed in 2003 by Mike Kruizinga, a former Event Director for Streetball Partners International where he produced solely and collaboratively Hoop it Up, Let It Fly, and other amateur sports marketing events all across North America.

K1 signed its first client in late December of 2003. NBA Canada, Inc. contracted K1 Events to produce and manage its NBA Hoop it Up Canada Tour for 2004, and 2005 as K1 licenses the naming rights for Hoop It Up in Canada from Streetball Partners International in 2004 and then Crestline Sports, LLC. in 2005.

K1 International is also contracted by Team Championships International, Inc. based out of San Diego to produce all Hoop it Up 3 on 3 Basketball, Let it Fly Flag Football and Kick It 3v3 Soccer events in the state of Texas.  These three tours will stop in over 50 cities each; with at least four stops each in the state of Texas.
